Offset M12 connectors for stainless steel products
Our experience has led us to conclude that M12 connectors mounted directly onto sensors cause reliability issues during washing as well as with machine vibrations. On the other hand, M8 connectors can be quite fragile, especially on products requiring frequent removal.
Our solution of a molded M12 cord that is offset by 50 cm allows for the connector part to be housed in the cable trunkings, providing protection from washing jets and mechanical stress.
